The Beagle Inn lies at the upper end of Woodthorpe, to the South-East of York city centre. Quite a large pub with two main rooms -- a public bar and a lounge bar with pool table. The pub's also got a 'Link' cash machine. The pub holds a not unpleasant atmosphere and has cheesy-looking disco lights at one end of the lounge. Serve food and do takeaway! Attempt to look like an old pub with wooden ceiling beams and attached brasses. Beers include John Smiths Smooth and Cask, Fosters and Carling. Not bad, maybe worth a visit if you're near-by.
