Daniel Jackson

This was York Brewery's fourth (now third) pub. It's situated on Stonegate in a lovely looking building (I think it used to be a pie shop). The pub is actually behind (and above) York Brewery's shop, and is accessed to the left of the shop. The bar is decorated a little like someone's living room, and there's additional seating at the rear. They serve food, and have another room upstairs which is non-smoking. The beers, being from York Brewery, are lovely, and they serve one or two guest ales too. For some strange reason, every time I've been in the staff have all been French!
